About Lundi Ramos

I come from Icelandic, English, and Northern European ancestry, born in Southern California and shaped by a life lived in motion across cultures, landscapes, institutions, and thresholds.

I name this not as identity alone, but as orientation.

My work is shaped by land, history, tradition, responsibility, and the question of what we choose to build once we understand that nothing belongs to us entirely.

Wherever I am, I try to practice stewardship over ownership, responsibility over entitlement, and care as something more durable than sentiment.

For the past decade, I have worked at the intersection of capital, care, and governance. My experience spans values-led organizations in cannabis, mental health, regulated psychedelics, financial infrastructure, and advisory work with governments and NGOs internationally. Across these different contexts, my focus has remained consistent: translating ethical principles into practical systems that remain trustworthy, resilient, and effective under pressure.

I design ventures and institutions that are financially viable, policy-aligned, and accountable to the future. This work has helped create public cost savings, new regulatory pathways, and durable partnerships across sectors.

I move between roles as a founder, advisor, executive, writer, natural gardener, therapist, and artist. Essentially, I am a systems architect, but my work has never worked around a title. I’m like a bridge between the dream and the dirt. Across every professional identity, I return to the same questions:

How do we build systems that protect dignity in generations to come?

How do we distribute care without extracting from the people who provide it?

How do we create institutions strong enough to hold money, power, land, and responsibility without betraying the communities they claim to serve?

How do we model the future of business as a globally aligned, self-governing expression of collective values?

Writing is one of the ways I metabolize these questions.

My work ecology essays explore capital, power, land, psychology, business, governance, physics, and the moral architecture beneath the systems we inherit. I write for people building inside complexity: policy leaders, organizers, public servants, those carrying influence across borders, industries, founders, executives, investors, and futures.

Through my advisory work, I partner with governments, international organizations, NGOs, investors, and executives to build institutions that are structurally sound, economically coherent, and ethically legible.

I’m usually called in when conventional answers stop working

or when the system we need doesn’t yet exist and must cross the boundaries of logic, geography, and imagination.

Through my writing, I ask what kind of world our systems are training us to accept, and I try to build another architecture.

I create, advise, garden, hold space, educate and write toward futures where care is not ornamental, ethics are not performative, and systems are designed to hold what matters — especially our planet.
