03 / One-year advisory review
Description
A written assessment of whether a year of advisory work together is an appropriate commitment for the change you seek.
I will review the proposed mandate, the institutional conditions surrounding it, and whether the people carrying responsibility have the authority to make the necessary decisions.
The review considers the intended outcome, the constraints already in view, and what would need to be true for a sustained engagement to be useful.
You receive a reasoned assessment of fit. It may identify a basis for further work, conditions that should be addressed first, a mismatch in timing, or reasons not to proceed.
Why one year?
A year gives the work a defined period in which to understand the system, work on its design, and observe how change behaves in practice.
Six months can end before new arrangements have been meaningfully tested. Two years can presume a continuing fit before the work has established what it needs.
One year provides a deliberate term for inquiry, action, and review. It does not assume that the engagement should continue beyond it.
What you receive
One written review of:
The proposed mandate and intended outcome.
The authority and conditions available to support the work.
The appropriateness of a one-year engagement.
Potential fit and, where relevant, upcoming availability.
This is a review of a possible engagement. It does not include the separate Written perspective offering, a call, a strategic plan, or a reserved start date.
Delivery and availability
Your purchase commissions the review. No separate acceptance email is required.
I will deliver it within 30 business days, beginning on the next business day after both payment is confirmed and your required intake is complete.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding observed U.S. federal holidays. Dates are calculated using U.S. Pacific time.
Longer engagements begin in seasonal openings. If the review identifies a basis for working together, I will indicate when I may be available and any conditions that would need to be resolved.
What the fee means
The $250 fee purchases my written assessment. A completed review may conclude that a longer engagement is not appropriate or that our timing does not align. That conclusion does not make the review incomplete or create a refund entitlement merely because we do not proceed.
If I cannot provide the purchased review, I will notify you and refund the full purchase price.
Neither of us is obligated to enter a longer engagement. Any subsequent work requires a separately agreed scope, custom fee, written contract, and automatic payment schedule.
Before purchasing
This is independent advisory work, delivered in English. It is not therapy, crisis support, or legal, tax, or investment advice.
$250 USD, paid upfront. The fee is not a deposit toward a future engagement. Your bank or payment provider may apply conversion or foreign transaction charges. Any tax collected at checkout is displayed before payment.
